They traveled all day and night, still searching for the tower of Tharten Dranmas. But, a thought accured to Bekkren and Soljar. What if that palace was the hide out. What if Rancorous worked for the sorceress. What if...

“Oh, by the nine 'ells!! May be we did Go aw'y from the place'n wur the evil witch is!” Soljar said in the silence as they sat in one of the inn rooms. She looked at the rest of the gang, her eyes darting from Bekkren and Leona.

“Soljar, what are you saying? You mean to say that we traveled 5 days here, to find out that the place they planned to hurt us all, was the place where that daffy witch is?” Leona asked her sister, “ I'm sorry, but if we're going back there, then, I'm going to hurt myself even more... so...” Her voice trailed and she looked down at herself with a very solemn face. Then Leona looked at her comrades and smiled, “I'm going for it!!”

“Wait, wait, wait! Your wounds have just started to heal! You'll have your wound reopen!” Bekkren said in panic.

“Well, 'er wounds may 'eal back up when we are th're, so it may be okay...” Soljar interjected. Bekkren looked at the dwarf, giving her the “really?” face. Soljar shrugged her shoulders and said,” Hey, it's a big possibility that may hap'en...” She turned from Bekkren to Leona, looking for help.

“Yeah, it is a possibility. For now, we need to rest so, let's all go  sleep on it, 'kay?” Leona got under the covers of her sleeping bag. Soljar got the small bed and Bekkren sat with his back to the wall. There was a sound from the next room. Bekkren put his ear onto the wall to get a better listen. The faint voices were a little clear to the drow's sharp hearing.

“You dope! They must've heard that! Geez, why did I have to be put with you, you tompkin! We'll never be able to get the stuff to the dwarf girl and her friends! Man...”

“Sorry, Jodeph, I know it is important to get these to them...” The other voice said. Bekkren heard something behind him. It was Soljar.

“Somethin' wrong? Friend or foe?” Soljar asked Bekkren. He shook his head.

“I don't know... They say that they have something for us...” A crash came from the room, even Soljar heard it.

“YOU BLOCKHEAD!!” The first person yelled at his companion, “Maybe we should just wake them all up!”

“Okay!” a slam of the door and a knock from their room's door told that they were coming over. Leona also was awake, bow drawn and slung with an arrow.

“What the heck is happening?” she whispered to her friends.

“Not sure... but they are coming in...” Bekkren said as another knock, that sounded a bit like a pound, came from the door,“Everyone hide!” And they all just did that. Soljar hid behind the bed, Leona crouched on top of the wardrobe and Bekkren waited behind the door. The door was inched open to show the man that opened the door. It was a dwarf with black hair, but with no beard. His eyes were brown and he as a little smaller than Soljar. He also had on a white top, black cloak and black leggings. He looked around.

“It seems that they're not here...” He looked to the person behind him, “ and, I was also being sarcastic! You didn't have to come over here, Olong!!” unlike the dwarf called Jodeph, Olong was a human, big and brawny. He had long, red hair and blue eyes. He had on a green shirt and green leggings with a very dark green cloak. Jodeph looked away and shook his head, “ no wonder there's a thing saying that brawn makes up for brains...” He sighed and looked around. Jodeph entered and approached the bed where Soljar was hiding. Leona tensed up and waited to see what he did. In the mean time, Olong looked around the dressers and then he started to look at the door. I need to do something!  Leona thought. She aimed for the vase next to the door and shot the arrow. The arrow shattered the vase and the two looked that way. In that moment Leona signaled her friends to stay where they were. Leona hopped down from the wardrobe ever so gracefully. Leona knocked another arrow in her bow string. She approached the men with the utmost caution.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?”  The two looked at the armed high elf. At the same time, they rose their hands, showing that they mean no harm.

“You're Leona Rhiann, aren't you?” the dwarf asked, “ My name is Jodeph, this is Olong, my pal. We've come to give you and your friends a gift from the king of Ghosting.” Jodeph smiled and he held his hand out in greeting.

“I see you don't have the accent.” Leona lowered her bow but, not her guard. Leona took the dwarf's hand and shook it. Jodeph smiled even more and indicated Olong to do the same. Olong held out his hand and gave Leona's a firm shake.

“Yeah, I was raised by humans but, sometimes, it sl'ps... crud... SLIPS through.” Jodeph stuck out his tongue to the side and made a raspberry  “sorry, anyways, do you know where the drow, an'... AND the dwarf are?” Jodeph gave another smile. Leona started to trust him, so she looked at Bekkren and Soljar to have them come out.

“As a matter of fact... I do.” Leona said to the two. They looked at each other and Olong pushed Jodeph forward.

“Go ahead, Jodeph, give them the gift!” The dwarf reached into his pocket and grabbed something out. The companions saw nothing and looked at each other in wonder and confusion.

“Here, take it!” Jodeph held out his hand to Leona. She reached for his and indeed, there was something there! It felt like a reptilian thing. It had wings and it felt hot. When Leona took it in her hands it seemed to be light and well, alive! Soljar looked at Leona. So did Bekkren and, at that moment, the being appeared! It seemed to be a baby dragon. It had red, black and grey scales, just like Leona's clothes. The colors were in the same places. Then Olong reached into hi pocket and pulled out two more dragons. One had just red legs, black chest and a red streak along it's back, just like Bekkren. The other looked like Soljar's clothes, too; a purplish red body. Leona smiled.

“Are they ours?” asked Leona. Jodeph nodded.

“I'll call me dragon Burna. A fittin' name, don't ye think?” Soljar laughed. Bekkren looked at his. Leona looked at hers and sighed.

“I'm not sure what to call you, my friend...” Then it hit the elvish girl, “I'll call you Pyre. My father used a pyre when he was casting fire spells to keep us warm in the winters.”

“I'll call mine... Firo.” Bekkren nodded at the dragon and it gurgled. They looked at the dragons and looked at each other.

“You see, the king has been watching you, and don't ask me how but, he saw that you were going to stop Tharten Dranmas. The king tho'ght... THOUGHT that you may need some 'elp... darn all the nine HELLS!... HELP because the woman is bad juju...” Olong nodded his head.

“Yeah, somehow she knew that we were going to bring these here to you and she tried to capture us by lightning and then tried to put us in the horrible cells. We escaped, all thanks to the elves...” Leona cut Olong off.

“Wait! Did you just say elves?” Leona's eyes had sparkles in them. Olong nodded. Leona looked incredibly at the human and slumped to the bed, looked at the little dragon in her hands and bowed her head. Leona's shoulder bobbed. Bekkren started to come to her side but, then he realized  she was laughing. Leona laughed and jumped up from the bed and she twirled around saying, “They're alive! I'm not the only one!” She stopped and she looked at the four people standing infront of the door, looking at her. Leona looked back and giggled, feeling so much like a fool and she said, casually, “What? Haven't you seen an elf happy before?” Soljar smiled by how happy her sister looked. Leona had friends  They were an alliance, couldn't be separated  But, when Leona's friends where lost, Leona has seemed to be only half happy and a little bit joking. Now, Leona looked as happy as can be. Bekkren looked at Leona. For all the time he has been with Leona, he had never seen her so happy.

“I'm glad tha' ye know that ye may 'ave yer friends back.” Soljar said. Leona looked at her and smiled.

“Well there's a lot of happiness in here,” a voice came from the doorway behind Jodeph and Olong.

“Yeah, it makes me want to cry!” One woman was very young looking and she was wearing a blue and green cloak  blue shirt and green pants. Her hair was very brown, almost black, and one part was laid in front of one eye. The other was wearing a pink and yellow cloak. She had brown and blond hair put into buns. The voices were so familiar to Leona. She pushed the two that were infront of the door, out of the way.
